My favourite breakfast special right now. Consistently well-prepared, best breakfast potatoes around, and it comes with an orange slice. Service is pretty good (never had a problem there), even during the Sunday morning rush.
Clientele is skewed towards seniors for the most part. I imagine for them--five stars. -

We stopped by for brunch yesterday.
I ordered the morning breakfast; eggs, toast, coffee and house fries. It was good. The portion was huge.
Wife ordered the veggie burger. It was from a frozen pattie and was OK.
The service was sub par. Our waitress seemed very busy, the coffee/water wasn't refilled. We had to ask other waitresses to call upon our waitress twice after waiting for 5 minutes each time. -

My boss assigned me to finding a restaurant to do some pre-meeting planning while we were in Oshawa. I chose this location as a previous review said it was a hangout for seniors. So I figured, the breakfast is probably good and it isn't overly loud.
The restaurant is surprisingly large. Lots of seating and yep, lots of seniors. Keeping in mind, it was a Monday morning. We were seated at a booth which was previously occupied by a pet owner. There was a lot of hair sticking to the fabric which was kind of off-putting.
Service wasn't overly fast here, it took a bit of time for the waitress to take our order. I think there may have been a big group seated just before us. Either way, we werent in a rush and had our papers out to prep.
My colleague ordered a grapefruit and cereal with a water. She got grapefruit juice, cereal, and no water instead. I ordered the breakfast special which was okay. The bacon was a bit too crispy for my liking and I found the potatoes to lack flavor. I don't typically put salt on my food but I needed to add some.
I'd say this place will always continue to be a senior hotspot and can do a decent breakfast but it was nothing to write home about, just a 3 star Yelp review. -

Nice little place in Oshawa... Your typical family restaurant with a typical menu and prices... Ordered the club sandwich with fries... No surprises!

I just moved to Oshawa recently & have been at this place several times, each day/night is another special & I have tried all .... they truly are special ! - the chicken & ribs are perfect. All of the deserts are fantastic . This is a nice place - no fancy decor, or noise - just really, really good food. Come super early ( 5:00 pm ) if you love coconut cream pie .... it goes fast !!!
